Since August 2003, the BRG has devoted a lot of its R&D effort as a member of the Business Rules Team (a multi-national consortium formed expressly to respond to the OMG's "Business Semantics of Business Rules" RFP) and then as a member of the SBVR Finalization Task Force.
The product of that work -- "Semantics of Business Vocabulary and Business Rules" (SBVR) -- is now an OMG standard. learn more...
Founded in 1997, the International Business Rules Forum is the conference of record for the business rules
industry and organizations that use and develop enterprise decisioning tools and services.

Europe's only industry-wide conference on Business Rules is held in June (specific dates and location for 2009 to be announced).
